Finding Stores & Browsing Menus in the App
From customer app 3.1.0, discovery in Kaminarigo happens in three places: the home screen's Explore Life section, the Kuku Mart category tiles, and the redesigned store page. This article explains each so you can answer customer questions — and make sure your own store shows up where it should.
Explore Life (home screen)
Below the main service buttons, the home screen features lifestyle & service categories: Spa & Massage, Gym & Fitness, Salon & Barber, Play & Kids, Laundry, Car Wash, Hotels & Resorts, Veterinary. Tapping a tile lists nearby stores in that category; See all opens the full Life catalog — Services, Professional, Health & Wellness, Education, Hospitality, Automotive, Real Estate, Events, and more — each with its subcategories.
For merchants: your store appears under the categories assigned to it. If your business belongs in a Life category (a spa, gym, barbershop, laundry, hotel, clinic…), make sure the right category is set — contact support if you need it changed.
Kuku Mart categories
The Kuku Mart screen shows its categories — Grocery, Pharmacy, Shopping, Agriculture — as tappable tiles at the top. One tap filters to nearby stores in that category, sorted open-first then closest-first; tapping the tile again (or All) restores the featured sections.
The store page
Store pages now mirror the web storefront:
- Category cards — square photo tiles under the search bar, one per product category. The photo is your category image if you set one, otherwise the first product photo in that category, otherwise your store logo. Categories with no available products are hidden automatically.
- Menu grouped by category — items are arranged into sections matching the cards' order, with uncategorized items collected under Others. Tapping a category card shows just that category; tapping it again brings the full menu back.
- Search still covers the whole menu, tolerant of typos and mixed word order.
- Photos — product images are square across the app, and items with multiple photos let customers swipe through the full gallery on the item details screen.
Make your page look its best: upload photos for your products (the first/featured photo drives cards and category tiles), set category images where you want control over the card, and keep your store logo current — it fills in wherever a photo is missing.
