Operating Hours: Three Ways to Publish
On Stores → Edit, the Operating Hours card starts with a choice of how your hours work:
- Open on selected hours — the weekly schedule below decides when customers see you as open or closed. Each day supports multiple shifts, so a lunch break (9AM–12PM and 2PM–6PM) is two slots on the same day.
- Always open — your store is open 24/7. Customers never see a closed warning, and the web store shows an "Open 24 hours" badge.
- No hours available (the default for new stores) — you don't publish hours at all. Customers never see a closed warning and no schedule or badge is shown.
Your weekly schedule is kept while one of the other modes is active — switch back to "Open on selected hours" and it's restored exactly as you left it.
What Customers See
When a store is closed under its selected hours, the KukuExpress app shows a notice on the store page and closed stores sink below open ones in lists and search — customers can still browse and order for later. Stores set to "Always open" or "No hours available" are treated as open around the clock: no notice, no sinking. A store that has never configured any hours also counts as open.
Adding Shifts Without Duplicates
The + button adds an empty time slot — fill in both times to make it count. A slot left empty is simply ignored when you save, and identical slots on the same day are collapsed to one automatically, so a stray click can't clutter your schedule.
