Financial Reports

Profit & Loss

Shows revenue minus expenses for a period. Found under Reports > Profit & Loss.

Click on any line item to drill down and see the individual journal entries that make up that amount. This helps you trace exactly where revenue or expenses are coming from.

Balance Sheet

Snapshot of assets, liabilities, and equity at a point in time. Found under Reports > Balance Sheet.

Trial Balance

Lists all accounts with their debit and credit balances to verify the books are balanced.

Cash Flow Statement

Shows cash inflows and outflows grouped by operating, investing, and financing activities.

Comparative Reports

All four financial reports support period-over-period comparison. Use the comparison controls at the top of any report to compare against:

  • Previous Period — same length period immediately before
  • Previous Month — same dates in the prior month
  • Previous Quarter — same dates in the prior quarter
  • Previous Year — same dates in the prior year
  • Custom — choose any date range to compare against

Each line item shows the current value, comparison value, and the change (amount and percentage) with color-coded badges.

Exporting

All financial reports can be exported to CSV for further analysis in spreadsheet software.
