Employee Scheduling
Shift Templates
- Go to HR > Shift Templates.
- Create templates like "Morning Shift (8AM-4PM)" or "Night Shift (4PM-12AM)".
- Define start time, end time, and break duration.
Weekly Schedule
- Go to HR > Schedules.
- View the weekly grid showing employees vs. days.
- Click a cell to assign a shift template to an employee for that day.
- Use Copy Week to duplicate the current week's schedule to the next week.
Attendance Tracking
The system tracks employee attendance automatically:
- POS Clock In/Out — Employees clock in and out from the POS app using their PIN or face recognition.
- Late Detection — The system compares clock-in time against the scheduled shift start and flags late arrivals.
- Undertime Detection — Early clock-outs before shift end are flagged as undertime.
- Work Hours — View detailed work hours, overtime, and break time per employee via HR > Work Hours.
Leave Management
- Define leave types in HR > Leave Types (vacation, sick, emergency, etc.) with annual allocation.
- Set store holidays in HR > Holidays — these affect payroll calculations (holiday premiums).
- Employees request leave, and managers approve via HR > Approvals.
- Approved leave is reflected in the schedule and excluded from absence deductions in payroll.
Overtime Filing
Employees can file overtime requests specifying the date, time, and reason. Overtime requests go through the Approvals workflow — managers review and approve or reject them. Approved overtime is automatically included in payroll computation.
